Biography

Sylvester Harmon was born on November 25, 1771 in Bennington, Bennington, Republic of Vermont. His parents were Joshua Harmon and Sarah Fisk. He married Mary Betts Together they had 8 children:

  1. Ann Harmon
  2. William Harmon
  3. Rockwell Harmon
  4. Samuel Harmon
  5. Elizabeth Harmon
  6. Caleb Harmon
  7. Sarah Harmon
  8. Mary Harmon

Mary died in 1814. He married Sarah Curtis in October 1816 Together they had 2 children:

  1. Cyrus Harmon
  2. Charles Harmon

He died on November 11, 1852 in Charlton, Saratoga, New York, United States and is buried in Jeremiah Smith the Charlton Old Cemetery, Charlton, Saratoga Co., NY.
