My paternal family resided 4 generations in NW Arkansas and SW Missouri with census ties to Warren County, TN and Granville, NC whete my 3g grandfather, William T. Harp, was born in 1804. William T. was the son of Sarah Harp and unknown father. As a direct male descendant, I’m tracking back using my ydna from a few different sites, family archived information, service and land records, and collaboration with cousins, relatives and other credible sources. My research spans nearly 50 years off and on woven between family life, military service, and a continuing career in state and federal parks and wildlife refuges.
