Biography

Elmer was born in Union Township, Ohio in 1901.[1] He married Cecile Schultz in Adrian, Michigan on October 18, 1922.[2] They made their home in Tecumseh, Michigan where Elmer, in 1930, worked odd jobs.[3] By 1940, he was working as a machinist at an automobile parts factory.[4] The couple's children included:

  1. Louise Jean (1923-2004)
  2. Lois Mae (1923-2011)
  3. Janice Lucille (1924-1992)
  4. Lyle Charles (1927-2017)
  5. Ronald Kenneth (1930-2012)

He passed away at the age of 69, in 1970,[5] and is buried at Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh.[6]
