Mary Jane Jean (Harper) Sefton (1875-1961) was born at Bungaree in Victoria. She was the daughter of Henry Anderson Harper (1841-1911) and Elizabeth (Palmer) Harper (1843-1929) [1]

Walter died in 1942 in Western Australia.[4] "SEFTON.–On November 8, at Subiaco (Western Australia), Walter H., dearly loved husband of Mary Jane Sefton, and father of Ven (Mrs. Kevin Denney, Bunbury, W.A.), Cora (Mrs. Coates, Melbourne), Lettie (Subiaco, W.A.), Walter (A.I.F., abroad), aged 78 years." Mary Jane died in Perth in 1961 aged 86. [6]
Mary Jane Sefton was cremated and had her ashes scatted at Karakatta Cemetery in Perth. [7]
