Andrew Harper was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)
Birth
Andrew Harper (1882-1972) was born at Bungaree in Victoria in 1882. He was the son of Henry Anderson Harper (1841-1911) and Elizabeth (Palmer) Harper (1843-1929)[1]
Baptism
- 11 June 1882 - Baptism. Andrew was baptised and baptismal records provide details on his birth and confirm parents name.[2]
Marriages
Andrew married Bella (Rogers) Harper (1890-1981) in 1912 in Victoria. [3]
Children included: Roy Anderson Harper (1917-1942) Betty Joan (Harper) Browne (1919-)
Death
Andrew died in 1970 aged 88. [4]
Research Notes
This seems to be the only death registration that applies based on the information of family. The age at the time of death matches the birth registration and it is not unusual for those people that are aged, for informants not to know the details of the deceased parents names. Gut instinct says this is the right death record.
