Biography

Elizabeth Harper, daughter of George Harper and Elizabeth Shipley was born in 1740 in Franklin, Tennessee. She died in 1836 (aged 95–96) in Garden District, Orleans Parish, Louisiana, United States and was buried at Bayou Saint John Cemetery in Orleans Parish, Louisiana, United States. [1]

Elizabeth married twice. Her first marriage was to John Knight, Sr. (1738-1787) . Their known children included:

  1. Nancy Knight (1766
  2. John Knight, Jr. (1770)
  3. Lydia "Liddy" Knight Westerman (1773)
  4. Elizabeth Knight Davis (1780)
  5. Mary Lavinia Knight Stockstill (1780)

On On 20 Oct 1786 Elizabeth Night married Matthew Sims in Madison, Kentucky, United States. [2]

Harper-16018 and Harper-3730 appear to represent the same person because: Attached to same husband, basically the same birth info. Harper-3730 has a later death, while other profile seems to lack actual death record so should use Harper-3730 instead.
