William & Ruth were married 1834 the year James was born. Seems like a reasonable match, however when they arrived Adelaide, Australia in 1839 I see they have a baby (unnamed) born onboard, and no mention of James who should have been age 4.
Considering the other information I have to assume the baby was 4 yr. old James and not born aboard (unless it was a long, perhaps interrupted voyage )
