Betsy was the daughter of Harrell-507 and Owens-7559 and was possibly born just before her mom passed away in 1826. She married Andrew Sheffield, her brother Needham's wife, Milberry's, brother. They had at least seven children.
She passed away after the 1860 census as Andrew is living with the children, widower, in the 1870 census. Andrew and his brother in law Needham served in the CSA and Andy brought Needham's body home to Milberry is one family story, while other's find Needham actually passed at home with Milberry from injuries in the CSA. Other stories have that Needham was buried on the battleground in Atlanta. Andy does remarry but after his second wife passes, he lives the rest of his days with Milberry.
