Ezekiel Harriman was born on Dec 23, 1757 in Plaistow, Rockingham, Province of New Hampshire, son of Asahel Harriman (~1731–>1810) and Susannah Bartlett (1734–~1791).
Ezekiel married Mary Craige on Nov 21, 1781 in Winchendon, MA, USA. Their known children were:
Ezekiel died on Apr 26, 1809 in Orland, Hancock, Massachusetts (District of Maine), aged 51. He was buried in Veterans Cemetery.
In 1781, Ezekiel, Peter and Asa Harriman moved from Plantation No. 1, (Bucksport) and took up settlers' lots here. Jas. Ginn came from Brewer and succeeded Robert Treat at the mill until 1797. In the mean time he built one Brig and two Schooners. In the latter year he moved to Bucksport and Mr. Treat sold the mill and lot to John Lee of Castine, who did a large business. About 1816, Joseph Lee succeeded his uncle.
