Biography

Chancey Allison Harriman, son of Samuel B. Hariman and Betsy (Mills) Harriman, was born on 27 April 1846 at Eaton Center, Carroll County, New Hampshire.[1] He appeared on the census of 31 July 1850 in the home of his parents at Eaton, Carroll, New Hampshire.[2]

He married Susan Hemenway, daughter of Alfred W. Hemingway[1]

Chancey died on 9 June 1937 at Spencer, Clay County, Iowa and was buried at Burr Oak Cemetery, Clay County, Iowa. His memorial has a photo of his headstone shared with Susan and links to those of family members.[1]
