Biography
Alf farmed in Gebbies Valley and Motokarara. In 1914 Alf and Agnes sailed to Britain and visited Agnes's family in Ireland. Their business United Motors transported passengers and freight to Kaikoura, Blenheim and Nelson. Agnes Gillespie was a full sister to Mary Gillespie, wife of Fred Harris.
Alfred married Agnes Gillespie in 1883 in New Zealand.[3]
