This William Harris probably is the William Harris William Harris who built Rockford, which still stands in Nelson County, Virginia. He married an Elizabeth, but not Tate, rather, Wagstaff. Elizabeth (Wagstaff) Harris The Elizabeth Tate Harris to whom this William is attached is not known to have married anyone other than Matthew Harris.
