Research Notes

DAR records show that Isaac Harris, a "Physician or Surgeon", was born in 1741 in East Jersey, New Jersey and died 24 April 1808 in Pittsgrove, New Jersey.[3] SAR lists him as a surgeon, with the same birth/death information, and notes that he was at the Battle of White Plains, New York, on 28 October 1776.[4]

His residences, as listed by the DAR, included Middlesex County and Salem County, New Jersey.[3]

He married twice - (1) Margaret Pierson, (2) Sarah Moore - and had at least five children:[3][5]
