The 1930 U.S. Census shows 12-year old Fred living with his parents and siblings on 1318 Campbell Ave in Chicago, Cook. Illinois, [2]
He married Mary Lou Duncan about 1938 (guesstimate) and had three sons.
The 1940 U.S. Census places 20-year old Richard Harris, his wife Mary Lou and son living in his brother-in-law's (Raymond Duncan) household. Three Duncan siblings (Raymond, Mary Lou and Lena) and their spouses lived in the household. Richard was employed as a handyman. [3]
He married Virginia Natalie Burda on 27 February 1953 in Montgomery County, Tennessee. [6] They had two daughters.
Richard, age 68, passed away in Dawson Springs, Hopkins County, Kentucky on 7 August 1988 and was buried at Rosedale Cemetery in Dawson Springs. [4][5]
