Job Harris, son of Samuel Harris (1697-1757) and Dinah (Willcoxson) Harris (1697-1755) , was born on 10 Feb. 1734 at New London, Connecticut.[1] [2]
He married Abigail Bennett on 8 April 1765 at Preston, New London County, Connecticut.[3]
Job died on 7 Dec. 1813 in Halifax, Windham County, Vermont[4] and was buried at Halifax Center Cemetery, Halifax, Windham County, Vermont. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and links to those of family members. [5]
Job wrote his will on 8 May 1812 in Halifax, it which was probated in Windham County, Vermont. He identified his children: Parthena (Harris) Baldwin (1768-1832), wife of Isaac Baldwin; Abigail (Harris) Smith (abt.1772-abt.1814), late wife of Isaiah Smith; Eunice (Harris) Baldwin (1775-1810) late wife of Daniel Baldwin; son John Harris; son Joshua Harris (1770-1837). John and Joshua were to be joint executors.[6]
