Biography
Henry Harris is a part of US Black heritage.
Henry is the son of Freeman and Millie Harris. He obtained a marriage license with Antonetta "Nettie" Gillem on 12 Dec 1879 in Miami County, Ohio, but it appears never to have been returned.[1][2] He appears with Eliza (Gillem) Harris and her sister Maggie Gillem in the 1880 census.[3]
Research Notes
Are Eliza and Nettie the same woman, or not? Nettie in her 1905 marriage registration[4] to York Rial says she has been widowed and her previous name was Nettie Harris, so perhaps they are.
