- The death has occurred of Mr. George Harris, a young married man, of Yeo Vale, Barnstable. He collapsed after motorcycling to Chittlehampton to visit his mother in law over the weekend, and died before medical aid could be secured. As the doctor who was called was able to certify the cause of death as heart failure, no inquest will be held.[4]
