Biography

William was born in Londonderry, Ireland on 22 May, 1876. We are unable to identify his parents.

At the time of the 1911 Census, William was showing his occupation as a soldier (rank-private) and a band musician. By 1939, he was working as a skilled labourer.

William married Bessie Hall in Crookham, Hampshire in August, 1906, and they would become the parents of at least 1 daughter, Olive.

William passed away in Camberley, Surrey on 14 December 1951 at age 75. He was interred at St Peter, Frimley on 20 Dec 1951
