Daniel served as a Private in Massachusetts in the Revolutionary War, under the command of Capt. David Chatwick. He is listed as a patriot ancestor by the Daughters of the American Revolution; his ancestor number is A207638.[3][4]
Daniel wrote his will on 8 April 1785.[5] In it he mentions:
