In 1920, seven year old Isidore (shown as Isadore) lived at 1345 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York, New York, United States with his father David (age 35), mother Lena (age 32), and siblings Abraham (age 12), Barnett (age 10), Gertrude (age 3), and newborn Sarah. His father was a cloaks & suits jobber.[2]
In 1930, seventeen year old Isidore lived at 5 West 111th Street in Manhattan, New York, New York, United States with his father David (age 44), mother Lena (shown as Minnie, age 42), and siblings Barnett (shown as Barnie, age 20), Gertrude (age 13), Sarah (age 11), and Diana (age 8). His maternal grandfather Sam Golon (age 65) also lived with the family. His father was a cloaks cutter, Barnett was a printing clerk, and Isidore was a plumber helper.[3]
Isadore married Mildred Orlofsky[4]
and they had at least four children (see Notes).
In 1940, Isidore (incorrectly transcribed as Elsa***, age 27) and Mildred (shown as Minnie, age 26) lived in the home of Mildred's parents Jacob Orlofsky (age 60) and Rebecca Orlofsky (age 60) in White Plains, Westchester, New York, United States. Also living there were Mildred's siblings George (age 21) and Frieda Klein (shown as Kline, age 33), brother-in-law George Klein (shown as Kline, age 37), and their children Sylvia A Klein (age 8) and David M Klein (age 5). Jacob was a proprietor, George was a salesman, Mildred was a cashier, and Isadore was a plumber.[5]
Isidore lived at 1225 White Plains Road in the Bronx, Bronx, New York, United States and worked for John Ballas at 1220 Tiffany Street in the Bronx when he registered for the World War II draft October 16, 1940. His wife Mildred lived at 1 Valley Road in White Plains, Westchester, New York, United States. Isidore was 5' 9" tall, weighed 170 lbs., and had black hair and brown eyes.[6]
Isadore lived in White Plains, Westchester County, New York, United States when he died January 21, 2010. His obituary was published in the White Plains Journal January 23, 2010.[7]
