Biography
Nancy was born in 1857. She was the daughter of Riley Harris and Elizabeth Wheeler.
She was living with her parents and siblings in Wayne county, Illinois in 1860 and 1870.[1][2]
She married James Riley Yates on 16 May 1877. They had a large family.
They were in Big Mound, Wayne, Illinois in 1880.[3]
They moved to Sheridan county, Kansas. They were located there in 1900.[4]
James died in 1905 at Hoxie, Sheridan, Kansas when he was run over by a train car.
In 1910, she and her children were in Fairbury, Jefferson, Nebraska.[5]
In 1920, she was living with married daughter Easter (Yates) Reid at Ogden, Riley, Kansas.[6]
She passed away in 1929 at Arthur, Arthur, Nebraska.
