William Porter Harrison was born on 7 January 1882[1] in Fluvanna County, Virginia, United States. He was the son of Geo & Julia Harrison.[2]

In 1904, Willie P. was living and farming in Fluvanna County. He and Carrie V Harding were married on 27 January 1904 in Fluvanna County.[2]

William registered for the draft for World War I in Fluvanna County. He was living and farming in Scottsville, Fluvanna County.[1]

In 1920, William P (38) was living in Scottsville, Fluvanna County, Virginia. [3]

In 1930, Willie P (48) was living in Scottsville, Albemarle County, Virginia.[4] Scottsville is in both Fluvanna and Albemarle County, so the family may have moved to a different home or the county line may have been redrawn.[5]

In 1940, Wm P (58) was living in Scottsville, Scottsville Magisterial District, Albemarle County, Virginia.[6]

William registered for the draft for World War II on 27 June 1942 in Scottsville, Albemarle County. He was 60 years old and reported his employer's name as "none."[7]

William died on 29 May 1947 in Scottsville, Albemarle County, Virginia, aged 64.[8] He was buried in Scottsville Cemetery, Scottsville, Albemarle County, Virginia.[9] He was survived by his wife, eight children, and two sisters.[10]
