Biography

Mary Ann Harrison was born in about 1796 in Godalming. She was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Harrison. She was christened on 7 Aug 1796 at St Peter and St Paul's Church in Godalming (Anglican).

Mary Ann never married. She died in 1875 at her home in Farncombe, aged 79, and was buried on 23 Oct 1875 in Nightingale Cemetery, Godalming, in the consecrated section, in the same plot as her brother George and unmarried sister Sarah. The plot is overgrown with shrubs, so no inscription is currently visible (see photos).
