Providence Harrison is a part of US Black heritage.
Providence Harrison was born about 1853 to Lank Harrison and Charlotte Paine. He was a slave and lived in Marengo Co, AL at Faunsdale Plantation owned by Thomas Alexander Harrison.
Plantation Lists
On the 1864 plantation families list Providece is age 6 born Jan 1858. He is listed with Lank age 50, Charlotte age 47, Barney age 17, born in 1847, Armistead age 15, born in 1849, Ryus age 13, born in 1851, and Matilda age 11, born in 1853.[1]
In 1864 Providence is listed as age 6 on the Confederate Tax list.[2]
