Lydia Paine Harrison was born about Sept 1845. Her mother was Charity Paine. She was a slave and lived in Marengo Co, AL at Faunsdale Plantation owned by Thomas Alexander Harrison.
Plantation Lists
On the 1857 Faunsdale plantation list Lydia Paine Harrison is listed as age 6. Listed with her are Charity Paine age 28, Margiana age 4, and Alexander age 2.[1]
On the 1864 plantation families list Lydia is listed as age 14, born Oct 1850. Listed with her are Manuel age 23, Charity age 35, Margiana age 11, Oct 1853, Alexander age 9, Sept 1855, and Fred age 5, 1859.[2]
In 1864 Lydia is listed as age 14 on the Confederate Tax list.[3]
