My lineage it from Thomas Harrison and wife Hannah, England, their son James Harrison and wife Winnie Reddin, their daughter Charlotte Harrison and husband William Harp, their daughter Elizabeth Harp and William Davis, their daughter Mary Jane (Polly) Davis and husband William Henry Romanus Essick, their son James Franklin (Frank) Essick, their son Rube Essick and wife Maxine, then me. "An estate settlement for Charlotte Harp was found in Christian County, Missouri by Virginia Rollings of Springfield, Missouri in January 1983. Thomas Jefferson Harp, s/o William and Charlotte, was the administrator. Administration bond not dated. Levi Lewis signed the Administrator's bond in the amount of six hundred dollars. Levi Lewis was probably the step-father of Thomas J. Harp's third wife, Isabelle Gilbert. The year of Charlotte Harp's death is not clear (1863? or 1865?) A notice of intent to administer estate was published on the 3rd day of April 1866. Heirs named were: (spelling corrected) Winnie Bohannan of Madison County, Arkansas; Wiett Harp of South Carolina; Elizabeth Davis of Christian County, Missoui; deceased: heir, Charles Whelchel; Susan(nah) Harp of Newton County, Arkansas; Saline Cecil, deceased: heirs of Newton County, Arkansas; Thomas J. Harp of Christian County, Missouri; Polly Dale of Illinois. (Martha Harp Davis Amith and James Madison Harp, not named,
were deceased.) Appraisers of Estate: Isiah Steward, J. W. McReynolds and P. W. McReynolds.
Inventory of her estate was: 1 chest, 1 kettle, 1 pair of locks, 1 pot, 1 County picture, 2 toilets, 6 dresses, 1 cap and tablecloth, 1 riding skirt, 1 cow, 1 calf, 1 table and cloth, 1 potters bucket, 1 pair scissors, 1 shovel, 2 chairs, 1 spinning wheel, 1 bedstead and cord, 1 pair cards and basket, 3 quilts, 6 plates, 3 cup and saucers, 1 glass, 1 large tin cup, 1 earthen crock and 1 coffee mill. "
