Emanuel Harrison was born March 18, 1829, in Middlesex, Ontario. He moved to Chinguacousey sometime before the 1861 census.
He married Everilla Haygard around 1855 and their first child was born in 1857. They had ten children in total, all born in Chinguacousy.
Everilla died in 1885 and Emmanuel remarried to Mary Ann Hewson on January 2, 1889.
Emanuel died April 20, 1920 in Chinquacousy, Peel, Ontario and was buried in the Brampton Cemetery. His gravestone is shared with both his wives and his youngest son, Frederick, who died at twelve years old.
