Caution: Benjamin Harrison had two sons, one named Carter Henry and the other named Henry. Please see the father's profile.
Carter was born in Berkeley Hundred, Charles City County, Virginia around 1732. [1] He married Susannah Randolph in 1760 [2][3] and they established their home at Clifton Plantation, Cumberland County, Virginia. He performed Patriotic service during the American Revolutionary War by being a member of the Committee of Safety 1775-1777, and furnished supplies. [4]
Carter died in 1793 at Clifton Plantation. His will provided for his wife, four sons, Robert, Peyton, Randolph and Carter: and for his two daughters Betty and Ann.
[5]
He is buried in Harrison Cemetery (also known as Clifton Cemetery), Cartersville, Virginia.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Carter by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Carter:
This profile is conflated. I will work to separate out the two sons. Carter Henry and Henry were two different sons per the Will of their father. They were both named separately.
Harrison-903 and Harrison-902 appear to represent the same person because: same name, parents, and spouse. Or did two brothers marry the same woman? Please review and handle accordingly. Thanks.
Harrison-4355 and Harrison-902 appear to represent the same person because: birth information is a complete match. Death information is not. However, since that's all Harrison-4355 has (no parents/wife/children), it might be better to merge him than leave him unconnected. Perhaps death info from Harrison-4355 (died 28 Jan 1772 in Hunting Quarters, Sussex, Virginia) is for a different Henry Harrison. Thanks, Liz
Further research is required to support a profile for Henry Harrison 1736 - 1736.
BUT, when reviewing the Biographies it is obvious that the merge should not have be completed.
Would one of the Profile Managers for this profile see how this problem can be rectified.
I am happy to help in any way I can.
