Robert was born and baptised in Yarmouth Norfolk, England in 1825. He was the son of John Harrod Ann Mills
At age of 20 he was a convict, transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania.) on board the Theresa. He was serving a seven year sentence [1]
