Permelia Hart was born on 11 February 1807 in Edinburg, Saratoga County, New York, United States,the daughter of Noah Hart and Cynthia Gray.^[1]

She married Nelson Finn in about 1829. They had five children.

1. James N Finn was born about 1831.^[2]
2. Gurdin Eldridge Finn was born 28 June 1833 in New York.^[3][4]
3. Charlotte Finn was born about 1837 in New York.
4. Andrew Finn was born about 1840 in New York.
