Biography
Benjamin Hart was aboard the RMS Titanic.
Benjamin Hart, 43, from Ilford, Essex, England[1] was travelling to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with his wife Esther Hart (45) and their daughter Eva Miriam Hart (7). Esther and Eva were rescued in lifeboat 14 but Benjamin died in the disaster.[2]
Benjamin, born in 1869 in Hull, Yorkshire,[3][4] was the son of Solomon and Rhoda Hart.[5][6] He married Esther Bloomfield Brooke, a widow, in West Ham, Essex, in 1900.[7] In 1901 they lived in East Ham, where Benjamin worked as a builder/carpenter.[8]
