Elizabeth Ann Hart was born on 4th April 1868 at Sellicks Hill, South Australia, Australia. She was the daughter of Eli Hart and Elizabeth Chenoweth. ^{[1] [2]}

Elizabeth Ann Hart died on 23rd April 1877, aged 9, at Curramulka, South Australia, Australia. ^{[citation needed]} Elizabeth was allegedly buried on the family farm at Curramulka. She died tragically when a water tank slipped off a cart and crushed her. Her sister "Kate" (Hilda Caroline) was badly injured in the same incident.
