Biography

Allen was born on September 1, 1880, Berks County, Pennsylvania. and a son of John Hartman and Susan Unknown. Allen married Alice B. Fisher. ^{[1] [2]} On September 2, 1918, Ethan signed a World War I Draft Registration Card and he was thirty-eight years old at the time. He stated his occupation was a cigar packer employed in Boyerstown, Berks County, Pennsylvania and his wife was his nearest relative. He was of medium height and build with blue eyes and brown hair. ^[3] Ethan was listed in the 1930 Census. ^{[4] [5]} He passed away on June 21, 1962 and buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Boyertown, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Interred on June 24, 1962. ^[6]
