Biography

Mary was born before 1840. She passed away after 1900. Find a Grave states a birth date August 20, 1853. Headstone shows 1853. The date August 17, 1852 was found in documents from Dr. Paul Ferry, brother of Ellen (Nellie) Rice, formerly Ferry. Nellie was the grandmother of Paul Gabiou. The document from Dr. Paul Ferry states that Mary was adopted by the Hartman family in New York. Her mother was Mary Ross.
