She spent the last six weeks of her life at her son's home and died peacefully.
Bonita was born on March 17, 1926 in Oldtown, Idaho. She married Joseph Frank Bombino in Sandpoint on December 28, 1944. They spent their entire married life at Priest River.
Her family will remember her as a wonderful wife and a loving, dedicated and precious mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Joseph, at the home; two sons, Robert and wife, Donna, of PRiest River, and Donald and wife, Gail, of Spokane, five grandchildren, Angelia, Trudi, James, Kristie, and Victoria; one great-grandson, Christopher, and two great grandchildren expected soon; and one brother, Robert Hartman of Simi Valley, Calif.
She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Memorial services were held Monday, April 17, at Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home, Priest River, with Pastor Clifford Utter officiating.
Inurnment will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Priest River.
The family suggests memorials to Cancer Patient Care, Attn: Dave E. 124 Trent, Spokane; to Hospice or to the Salvation Army.
