Biography

Orville was born on May 11, 1919 in Saginaw, Saginaw County, Michigan. He was the son of Arthur Hartung and Katie Ribble. He married Eleanor Morlik on June 1, 1940 in Blissfield, Lenawee County, Michigan. They had 3 children together;

2. Rose Ann (Hartung) Henry (1945-1996)
3. Orville Leonard Hartung 1946

Orville was a carpenter.

Orville served in the US Army during World War II. He was employed as a carpenter for 30 years and was a member of the Carpenter Union. He later was employed by Malleable Iron Foundry for 10 years in Saginaw.

Eleanor died in 1990 and Orville died on January 2, 1998 in Frankenmuth, Saginaw County, Michigan at the age of 78 years. He was buried at the Mount Olivet Cemetery located in Saginaw, Saginaw County, Michigan.
