Miss Cecelia M. Hartzell, 87, of 2106 Miller Ave. died at her home at 5:45 p.m. yesterday following two weeks illness.
The daughter of the late Frank and Laura Day Hartzell, Miss Hartzell was born Feb. 27, 1878 in Deerfield Township. She was a member of the Union Avenue Methodist Church and the Missionary Society.
She is survived by a sister, Miss Esther L. Hartzell of the home and two brothers, A. H. Hartzell of Deerfield and Nelson of North Benton.
Funeral services will be held at the Cassaday and Turkle Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Richard Cheney officiating. Burial will be in Hartzell Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7 to 9.
