OBITUARY. The Late Mrs. H. Talbot. The death took place on Thursday after a short illness of Mrs. Hazel Talbot. beloved wife of Mr. W E. (Bill) Talbot, of 15 Leon-road, Claremont, and the well-known entrepreneur of stations 6PM and 6AM. The late Mrs. Talbot, who was born in York 33 years ago, was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Harvey, the late Mr. Harvey having been manager of the York Flour Mills for a number of years. Like her husband, the late Mrs. Talbot was fond of music and while she lived at York was a keen tennis player and an ardent worker for the Methodist Church. She leaves a family of three young children. A service was held at the Karrakatta Crematorium yesterday afternoon, at which a very large and representative gathering assembled to pay their last respects, the Rev. J. H. Stone conducting the service. The chief mourners were Mr. W. E. Talbot (widower). Mr. P. B. Talbot (father-in-law), Mrs. Eaton (sister), Messrs. D. B. Black and L D. Johnstone (brothers-in-law), and Harvey Phillips (nephew). . . .
