Biography

Philip Harvey was born about 1748 in Taunton, Massachusetts. He was the son of John Harvey (1676-) and Elizabeth.

Philip served as a Captain in the Revolutionary war.[1]

Philip married Elizabeth (Giddings) Harvey (abt.1749-1826) in 1768 in Preston, Connecticut.[2] They raised seven children.

  1. Philip Harvey. Died at sea.[2]
  2. Elizabeth Harvey, born 1769.[2]
  3. Rhoda Harvey, born 1778.[2]
  4. Paul Harvey (1784-1852).[2]
  5. Amos Harvey.[2]
  6. John Harvey.[2]
  7. Harry Harvey.[2]

Philip passed away on the 15th of November 1815 in Preston, Connecticut at the age of fifty-five.[3]
