== DNA Test Results Summary ==

STR Y-DNA test results Paternal relationship is confirmed through STR Y-chromosome DNA testing, as of Nov. 2021, of five male Harvey individuals who all descend via STR Y testing from three sons of Common Ancestor (CA) Zachariah Harvey b. 1711 (Harvey-1523) through independently developed genealogies as follows :

Harvey-3549 is 6th gr grandson thru 1st son John Harvey b.1636 (Harvey-1510). Harvey-3300 is 8th gr grandson of 2nd son Zachariah Harvey b. 1744 (Harvey-3292). Harvey-3307 is 6th gr grandson of 7th son Isaiah Harvey b. 1758 (Harvey-3291). Harvey-3308 & Harvey-3109 (brothers) are 4th gr grandsons of Isaiah Harvey (Harvey-3291) who, as shown above is 7th son of Zachariah Harvey b. 1711 (Harvey-1523).

SNP Big Y700 test results : Thomas Harvey b. 1641 (Harvey-2603) is the grandfather of Zachariah Harvey b. 1711. A sixth tested man (Harvey-16565), (7th C1xR to H-3308 & 3109), with a completely independently researched family genealogy, is a direct line male descendant of Thomas Harvey b. 1641. He has been Y-700 tested and is on the same E Y-700 tested haplogroup branch as H-3307, 3308 & 3109. (H-16565)'s SNP haplogroup is E-FT208196 . Harvey-3308, and Harvey-3109, brothers, reside at SNP E-FT86986 which is the current Terminal/Familial SNP haplogroup for their specific paternal line. Their 4th C1xR Harvey-3307 resides at SNP E-BY36895.

Now, we wait - hoping to find a direct line male descendant of William Harvey of Taunton (Harvey-243) for Y-700 testing to confirm that the Thomas Harvey b. 1641 line is truly descended from William Harvey of Taunton.

Where is any evidence found that identifies Sarah Leland as being the wife of Thomas Harvey b. 1682?

Whenever Thomas Harvey's marriage to his wife "Sarah" is listed she is always called "Sarah Harvey". Thus, indicating her maiden name is unknown. The other less likely possibility is that her maiden name or prior married name may have been Harvey before her marriage to Thomas Harvey b. 1682.
