Frances Margaret Harvey was born in 1920 [1] in South Fremantle, Western Australia. Her father, Frederick Harvey, was 47, and her mother, Fanny Mortimer, was 25. She had three brothers and four sisters.
She married Victor Vernon Egan in 1941[2] in Fremantle, Western Australia and had one child with him. She was widowed in 1943 and left to raise a young child.
Frances married Charles Purcell in 1951 [3] in Fremantle, Western Australia. They had 2 children together.
Frances died on 28 July 2006 in Riverton, Western Australia.[4] She was buried in the Roman Catholic section at Fremantle, Cemetery.[5]
