Margaret's maiden name, often shown as Birdseye appears to actually be Harvey. Anderson relies on the not-yet-published work of Jane Wilcox, From England to America: The Odyssey of the William and Margaret Wilcockson Family which will report that Margaret's maiden name was Harvey.[1]
Thomas Wilcox found reason to assume that Margaret's maiden name may have been Hazard. The name, Thomas Hazard, is mentioned in the barely readable portion of William Wilcockson's will, and Thomas Hazard also turned over his Stratford proprietorship portion to William. Apparently prior to his Thomas Hazard discovery, this same author had been pretty well convinced that Margaret was born Harvey. To quote his book, page XIV, "For generations back in Derbyshire and clear back to Wales, the two families (referring to Wilcoxson and Harvey) had lived side by side. In fact, they must have been pretty much inbred. (The name of the Harvey family in Wales was Hervie.) Just prior to the American argonaut there is a record of the marriage of Richard Harvey of Denby, Derbyshire to Margaret Wilcoxson of Woodhouse, 9/20/1601. This was not the Richard Harvey who accompanied William Wilcoxson on the Planter - the latter was a much younger man who could have been a son of the couple indicated. Mr. Donald Lines Jacobus in a recent article in his journal about Derbyshire families mentions a James Harvey who had a daughter, Margaret Harvey, born February 23, 1610. This date coincides almost perfectly with our Margaret who was shown as 24 years old in 1635. However we had better call Margaret's identity unsolved until a more exhaustive search is made of the Derbyshire records."[2] However, Jane Wilcox is expected to refute this.
17 Feb 2021 Update
Margaret had been shown with parents John Birdseye and Elizabeth Andrews, which is incorrect per the sources shown above.
Margaret was baptized on 23 Feb 1609/10 at Ilkeston, Derbyshire, England, the daughter of James Harvey and his wife, Elizabeth.[4]
Margaret Harvey and William Wilcockson married in England, and came with their son, John, age 2, on the ship Planter, arriving at Boston June 7, 1635.[5]
This profile had reported Margaret's birth place as St Albans, Hertfordshire, England, without sources. Her mother may have been born and died in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, England.
According to Anderson, the Margaret who was the daughter of James Harvey, of Ilkeston, Derbyshire, was the first cousin of immigrants, Richard Harvey and Mary (Harvey) Beasley, and was probably the identical Margaret who married to William Wilcockson, immigrant to Stratford, Fairfield, Colony of Connecticut.[6]
Original profile indicated possible LNABs including Hassard, Harvey, Hazard. With James Harvey listed as Margaret's father, and no other notations or sources, there is no reason to list Margaret's LNAB as anything other than Harvey at this time.
One contribution to this profile mentioned Margaret was baptised 23 Feb 1609 or 1610 in Ilkeston, Derby (per The American Genealogist). Another contribution mentioned that Margaret was born about 1612.
Margaret's cousin Mary married William Beardsley (per the referenced American Genealogist article).
Margaret was born in about 1611 in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England[7]. She died 1655 in Stratford, Fairfield, Connecticut.
Spouses: 1) William Wilcoxson (1601 - 1651); 2) William Hayden (1600 - 1669)

CONFLICT Margaret married William WILCOXSON on 1632 in Stratford, Fairfield, Connecticut[7].
she married (1) WILLIAM WILCOXSON about 1632 in England, and (2) William Hayden in 1665.
Margaret's death had been reported as 6 Oct 1683 without sources
After 22 Oct 1668, the date Margaret and the Wilcockson children signed an agreement[5] Poor-177 13:48, 24 December 2014 (EST)

Other sources cited herein indicate that she died after 22 October 1668 (agreement made), or perhaps after 4 November 1668 (distribution of estate of William-1 Wilcockson per same agreement).
I've added a Disputed Origins section to this profile, capturing the names of her incorrect parents, and also explaining confusion regarding her last name at birth.
In checking the sketch of William Wilcockson at Great Migration I note that William married about 1633 to Margaret Harvey, daughter of James Harvey of Ilkeston, Derbyshire. So Margaret's surname should be HARVEY, not Birdseye.
She then married William Hayden after May 1656 and before December 22, 1657.

Here is a link to a blog post by Jane Wilcox explaining her rationale for Margaret's last name at birth: http://www.4getmenotancestry.com/the-grand-wilcockson-tour-to-derbyshire-day-4/
Harvey-2871 may turn out to be the target profile for merges of all duplicates of Margaret Harvey, wife of William Wilcockson. For now, just awaiting 1) profile managers opinion and 2) publication of new book by Jane E. Wilcox, From England to America: The Odyssey of the William and Margaret Wilcockson Family.
