Biography
Alexander was born in 1699, the elder son of William or Alexander Harvie and Margaret Forbes. He married Agnes Henderson and the christenings of their children in Belhelvie are recorded as: Alexander in 1747, Robert in 1749, Isabell in 1751, and Elizabeth in 1754.
