Edward was born on 12 October 1912 in Virginia. He was the son of James William Harvey and Mary P. Woodson.^[1]

In the 1920 census Edward (age 7) was living in Massies Mill, Nelson, Virginia.^[1]

In the 1930 census Edward (age 17) was living in Massies Mill, Nelson, Virginia.^[2]

Between 1935 and 1993 Edward (age about 22) was living in Amherst, VA.^[3]

Edward died at the age of 74 on 19 November 1986 in Amherst, Amherst, Virginia, United States of America. Cause of death was Buried at Jonesboro Cemetery.^[4][5]
