Biography
William was born about 1802, possibly in Richmond county Virginia. He was a carpenter in Petersburg Virginia. He passed away in 1859.
William Harwood married Elizabeth M Newsom on October 16 1827 in Petersburg City[1]
- Three children were born to William and Elizabeth
- Edward Organ Harwood, July 1 1833.
- Francis N Harwood, about 1836.
- Henry Harwood, about 1838.
After the death of Elizabeth M (Newsom) Harwood, William married Eliza Ann Redford on August 29 1839 in Petersburg, VA[2]
