Biography

Charles was born in Ballarat in 1884.^[1]

He married Ida May Hammer in 1909.^[2]

They had two children:

William Bramwell Harwood (1910-abt.1992)

Selina May Harwood (abt.1913-1928)

Charles and Ida lived in Ballarat throughout their lives. In 1920 they resided at 54 Hummfray Street South and Charles worked as a labourer. ^[3] In 1934 they resided at 19 Tress Street. Charles occupation is given as Moulder. ^[4] By 1963 they were living at 703 Tress Street with their son and his wife living next door at 701.^[5]

Charles died in 1965, aged 81.^[6]He is buried at Ballarat New Cemetery and Crematorium.^[7]
