They came to America. It says they came to Virginia, but the author points out that he might have come to New England was a part of Virginia at that time.
The author goes on to say that most likely the wife and children stayed in Stepney, London, England because on Aug. 1, 1659, Edmond Pike was appointed curator "to Sarah, Margret and James Harwood, minors, children of Andrew Harwood, late in ye Virginia. ..."in parts beyond ye seas, deceased," and on Dec. 12, 1659 administration was granded to Elizabeth Harwood, "relict of Andrew Harwood of Stepney".
