Charles Haskell, soldier in the Texas Revolution.[1]
Born in 1817. Son of Joshua Haskell. After the Battle of Coleto, Charles was killed in the Goliad Massacre on March 27, 1836. Haskell County, Texas is named in his honor.[1]
