Joseph married Rachel Elwell, on 19 Mar 1695/96 in Gloucester, Essex, Massachusetts.[3][5] Joseph and Rachel had the following children, all born in Gloucester:[1][2][3][6][7]

Jeremiah, b. 23 Oct 1714, d.20 Jun 1786.
Joseph Haskell died on 11 Apr 1718 in Gloucester, Essex, Massachusetts.[3][5][8] In his will, he directed that his son, Moses, should "learn the trade and mystery of a cooper".[1][2]
