Joseph Haskell, the son of Wiilliam Haskell and Mary Brown, was born on 20 or 21 Apr 1672/73^[1][2] in Gloucester, Essex, Massachusetts.^[3][4][5]

Joseph married Rachel Elwell, on 19 Mar 1695/96 in Gloucester, Essex, Massachusetts.^[3][5] Joseph and Rachel had the following children, all born in Gloucester:^{[1][2][3][6][7]}
