Hello again!

This week we have your last stop on the guided tour. Hopefully, you're feeling like a WikiTree pro!

You've covered a lot of ground the past few weeks. Today, we want to give you just a few more tools that can take you even deeper into the WikiTree forest without getting lost: How to Dig a Little Deeper.

As always, your questions are welcome!

Vicky Majewski ~ WikiTree Mentor

Hi!

You've probably been hard at work adding family members and getting connected to those that are already here. You should have at least a few profiles that you manage now. So, this week we're going to look at how to work with your Watchlist: How to Manage Your Watchlist.

Please let me know if you have any questions! I am happy to help!

Vicky Majewski ~ WikiTree Mentor

Kendra--

You've been here for three weeks now! We hope you're profiles are starting to come together and that you've enjoyed getting to know all of us a little better. You're probably getting a good feel for the collaborative nature of WikiTree by now. We know that collaboration isn't always easy. So, we've put together a few pointers that can make working in this type of environment a little easier: How to be a Successful WikiTreer. As always, your questions are welcome!

Hi Kendra,

Thanks for joining us! I’m David, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.

Did you have fun learning your way around WikiTree yesterday?

I would be happy to answer any questions you might have after working through How To Start Climbing Our Tree.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Hello! I'm pretty new to Genealogy research but I have found a new love and passion for doing it. My paternal grandparents are of Native American decent but due to the rampant racism they were very reluctant to speak of it and their families didn't submit to any rolls that are known of, however research on Ancestry and oral history is leading me to finding out our true heritage. My paternal grandmother's line originated in NC then later to TN where they stayed until after early 1900's missing the Dawes Rolls. But somehow we needed up in Oklahoma which I suspect is due to family that has already moved here during early resettlement. I am hoping to discover more information to share with my family along the way!

You are now a confirmed member, and you can begin adding your family members. As we've stated, WikiTree is quite different from other genealogy sites. So, we've put together a guided tour to help you learn how to use it. Your first stop is How to Start Climbing Our Tree.

Tomorrow, you'll hear from a Mentor who will check in to see how you're doing and answer any questions you might have.

Next week, you'll get another message with your next stop on the guided tour.

You can also meet some of our members by joining in the fun with our Question of the Week in the G2G forum: Have you found any unusual occupations in your family tree? Welcome!

KBA

Greetings

Welcome to WikiTree! The email we just sent has helpful links to get you started on your Wikitree genealogical journey.

WikiTree differs from other genealogy websites in that our goal is to have a single profile per person, and thus we share ancestors and collaborate as a GLOBAL collective team!

What interests have guided you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into our tall and many branched tree?

When you confirm your email address, you’ll be given an opportunity to volunteer to help document our collective family history. Use the Tags and comments to tell us about your genealogical interests.

When you volunteer, one of our Greeters will confirm your membership. Then you'll be able to add your family to the tree!

We're really excited you are here!

KBA
